Each year we try to use a piece of artwork to carry our Christmas message to Boleh’s wonderful friends and supporters. Carole Westbrook’s lovely Christmas Card designs have often been used but this time we’re going further afield – to Boleh’s birthplace, Singapore!
As part of Singapore’s celebrations in 2015 marking the 50th Anniversary of Independence, local artist Juria Toramae curated an exhibition entitled ‘Points of Departure’. One of the departures she depicted was this painting of Boleh, heading out from Singapore for Salcombe in 1950.
