After almost 4 years achieving so much with Boleh, our Ops Director, Craig Coupe will be stepping down at the end of March. We’re sad to see him go but Craig feels now is the time to develop his own Sail Training business – ‘Bourne to Sail’ – closer to his family in Eastbourne. We wish him every success in this venture and are very grateful for the professional knowledge and enthusiasm he has brought to the Trust’s work. Happily, he will remain Yachtmaster Instructor for Boleh’s RYA accredited courses.
With Craig’s departure, we are delighted to welcome back a long-standing Boleh friend and Gosport resident, Lucy Grodie. Lucy is an Ocean Yachtmaster and Cruising Instructor who, as former General Manager of the Association of Sail Training Organisations, was closely associated with Boleh’s entry to the Sail Training community. She joins the Boleh Trust initially as a consultant, working with Craig to develop the Crew Management and Sail Booking system and ensure a smooth transition for the next postholder.
Lucy is a Trustee of Sail Training International and Chair of the Gosport Marine Festival. We look forward to working with Lucy and benefitting from her extensive experience, both at the helm and as a senior Sail Training Administrator.
