The end of another Season, and we’re proud to say not a single day of our charitable sailing programme has been lost for technical reasons, despite Boleh’s complex design. Thanks to the skill and dedication of our technical team of volunteers, and the investment in maintenance and equipment made possible by our generous funders, Boleh’s 75th Anniversary Year really has been a case of ‘Steady as she goes’.
This year pressures on ‘customer’ budgets have restricted some of our programmes, but we are pleased to have been able to expand our work with active members of the Armed Services as well as with Veterans. Looking ahead, we pay tribute to, and are very grateful for, the significant support of the Nuffield Trust for the Forces of the Crown. We thank the Trust for again contributing to the costs of Boleh’s winter work package and to next year’s sailing programme for Service personnel.
