This website tells the story of the historic junk yacht Boleh; her design and build in 1948; her voyage to England in 1950; the rescue of Boleh as a fire damaged hulk 30 years later and Boleh’s arrival in Portsmouth for a full scale restoration in 2008. Having returned to the water in 2015, thanks to the Heritage Lottery Fund and many corporate and individual donors, Boleh is now a fully operational sail training vessel embarking on the next stage of her journey, bringing a unique sailing experience to those who will benefit most.
